FFL Draft Day Picker helps you run and track a fantasy football draft. Use it live during your league draft to record picks and get recommendations, or run practice mock drafts against AI opponents.
When you open the app for the first time, you land on the Draft Setup screen. Once a draft is configured and started, the app opens directly to your active draft each time until you reset it.
Player rankings, ADP, injury status, and headshots come from ESPN data and are refreshed on our servers. You can refresh the data before a draft, then work entirely offline during the draft itself.
2. Setting Up a Draft
On the setup screen, configure your league, then tap Start Draft.
League Settings
League Name - names your draft in exports and saved boards.
Teams - set the number of teams (2 to 20) and name each one.
Rounds - the number of rounds to draft.
Draft Type - Snake (order reverses each round) or Linear (same order every round).
Linear Rounds First - for keeper leagues, draft linearly for a set number of rounds, then switch to snake.
Position Requirements
Set the minimum and maximum roster slots for each position. The app uses these to decide when your starting requirements are met and what to suggest next.

Other Options
Scoring Format - Standard, Half PPR, or Full PPR.
Player Sort Order - Rank, ADP, or VBD (Value Based Drafting).
Pick Timer - an optional per-pick stopwatch.
QB Premium Mode - for Superflex or 2QB leagues; boosts quarterback value in recommendations.
My Team - select which team is yours so the app can highlight your picks and tailor advice.
Mock Draft Mode - when your team is selected, enable this to have the other teams auto-draft.
Note: Most league settings are locked once the first pick is made. Set them before you start.
3. The Main Draft Screen
The draft screen is organized top to bottom.
Info Card (Pick, Roster, Draft tabs)
The card at the top has three tabs:
Pick - shows who is on the clock, the current round and pick, and overall progress.
Roster - shows position counts with a toggle between your team, the team on the clock, and the whole league. Tap the team icon to open the full Draft Board.
Draft - mock draft controls, the My Team selector (changeable mid-draft), and the color scheme options.
Pick Ticker
A horizontal strip below the info card shows the current pick and upcoming picks, so you can see who drafts next and plan ahead.
Best Available Card
The central card recommends who to draft. It has filter tabs for the AI recommendation, Overall, Favorites, and each position. See the next section for details.
Draft Controls
View Board - opens the full player list where you can search, filter, and draft any player.
Reset Draft - clears all picks while keeping your teams and settings.
Recent Picks
A scrolling row of the most recent picks, color-coded by position. Tap any card to view that player's details. Below the row are the View All, Analytics, and Undo buttons.
4. Making Picks
Check the Pick tab to confirm who is on the clock.
Draft directly from the Best Available card, or tap View Board to choose any player.
Confirm the pick when prompted.
The draft advances automatically. In a snake draft, the order reverses each round.
Note: Made a mistake? Tap Undo under the Recent Picks row to reverse the last pick.
5. Best Available and the AI Advisor
The Best Available card has a row of filter tabs:
AI - the recommendation engine's top suggestion for your roster, with the reasons behind it.
Overall - the highest-ranked available player.
Favorites - the next available player you have tagged as a favorite.
QB, RB, WR, TE, K, DST - the best available player at that position.
How the AI Picks
The recommendation engine scores every available player using five weighted factors, then adds production bonuses and injury penalties.
Factor
What It Measures
Value
The player's ADP compared to the current pick number.
Scarcity
How many startable players remain at the position.
Team Need
Gaps in your roster versus your position requirements.
Bye Week
Schedule conflicts with players you already drafted.
Elite Tier
A bonus for top-tier talent at a position.
The engine also rewards proven touchdown and yardage production, and it avoids recommending injured players. It fills your starting requirements before suggesting depth, never exceeds a position maximum, and holds off on kickers and defenses until late in the draft.
Note: Every player is scored with VBD, which measures how much better a player is than a replacement-level starter at the same position. You can sort your board by Rank, ADP, or VBD.
6. Mock Draft Mode
Practice your strategy against AI opponents.
Select your team on the setup screen or the Draft tab.
Turn on Mock Draft Mode.
The other teams draft automatically. When it is your turn, the draft pauses.
Make your pick, and the AI opponents resume.
Difficulty Levels
Choose how tightly opponents draft relative to ADP:
Normal - opponents reach often, so more value falls to you.
Harder - realistic opponents that mostly draft by the book with occasional reaches.
Tough - opponents rarely miss and almost always take the best available.
Note: Opponents use weighted randomization, so each mock draft plays out differently. Run several from different draft slots to learn where value tends to fall.
7. Menu Reference
Open the menu with the three-dots button in the top-left corner of the draft screen.

A verdict rates the trade as good, even, or bad, and you can save scenarios to compare offers.
Favorites and Busts
Tagging cycles through None, Favorite, and Bust. Favorites appear under the Favorites tab on the Best Available card. Tags carry over between sessions and data refreshes.
Saved Drafts and Report Cards
When a draft finishes, you are prompted to save it. From a saved draft's board you can open Team Report Cards, which give each team a curved letter grade along with roster breakdowns, best and worst picks, and comparisons to the league average.
8. Settings
Tap the gear icon in the top-right corner to open Draft Settings. Before the first pick, you can adjust the league name, rounds, draft type, pick timer, sort order, grading mode, QB Premium Mode, position requirements, and team management.
You can also change which team is yours at any time from the Draft tab, and switch the color scheme there as well.
Note: Your draft is saved automatically as you go, so you can leave the app and return to the same board.
