Getting Started
FFL Draft Day Picker is your draft-day coach. It tells you the smartest pick for your team as each selection comes off the board, grades your draft when you finish, and lets you practice with mock drafts against the AI. Once your player data is downloaded, it works fully offline on draft day.
- Refresh your player data. On first launch you will be offered a data download. Tap Refresh to pull the latest rankings, ADP, projections, and injury status (updated nightly on our servers). Do this once before your draft, then you can go offline.
- Set up your draft. Open Settings (the gear icon) and enter your league name, number of teams, rounds, scoring type, and pick your own team. See Setting Up a Draft below.
- Draft. On the Draft screen, follow the recommendation or pick any player when you are on the clock.
- Review your grade. When the draft ends, view your Report Card to see your letter grade and where you placed in the league.
Setting Up a Draft
Open Settings (gear icon in the top bar, or the Draft entry in the menu). Configure:
- League Name — a label for your draft.
- Teams — set the number of teams, edit each team's name, arrange draft slots, and choose My Team so recommendations are tailored to your roster. (Team count locks once picks are made.)
- Rounds — how many rounds the draft runs.
- Draft Flow — Snake (serpentine) or Linear.
- Keeper Rounds — set early rounds where you assign keepers yourself (the AI won't auto-pick those rounds).
- Scoring — Standard, Half PPR, or Full PPR.
- Competition Level (AI difficulty) — Easy (Loose), Normal, or Hard (Tight) for mock-draft opponents.
- Bust Mode — Skip Entirely or Penalize by 2 Rounds for players you flag as busts.
- Roster Requirements — how many of each position (QB, RB, WR, TE, K, DST) make up a full team.
- Extras — pick timer/stopwatch, mock draft on/off, QB Premium, filter injured players, favorites boost, and Best Available sort order (score, ADP, or VBD).
💡 Set your My Team and turn on Mock Draft to have the AI draft for every other team automatically — the perfect way to practice.
Running a Live Draft
- See who's up. The "On the Clock" card shows the current team, round, and pick, with a rest-of-round order strip showing who's next.
- Get the best pick. The Best Available card highlights the top player for the selected filter. Use the filter buttons to switch between Overall, a specific position, ⭐ Favorites, or 🧠 AI Recommendation (which weighs value, scarcity, team need, bye weeks, and elite talent for your roster).
- Explore a player. Tap the tier pill to see the ranked list at that position (drafted names are struck through), or use the ESPN and Depth Chart chips for more detail.
- Draft the player. Tap the Best Available / AI card and confirm, choose a player manually from the list, or add an unlisted player with Custom Player.
- Keep going. If mock draft is on, the AI instantly picks for the other teams until it's your turn again. Made a mistake? Use Undo to reverse the last pick.
After the Draft
- Report Card — each team gets a letter grade (A+ to F) and a league placement (e.g. #2 of 12), plus positional depth, strengths and weaknesses, value vs. reach picks, and a league comparison.
- Save your draft — keep the results to revisit later under Saved Drafts / Report Cards.
- Share — export your report card to show your league.
